The Business

A leading supermarket retailer in KSA had problems with hygiene levels in food production departments (butchery, fishery, delicatessen and Bakery) across its 350 + stores.

The problem

They were using chemicals to clean but there were no dosing systems in place, point of use signage or a standard understanding of cleaning procedures throughout their stores, the result being inconsistent standards of Hygiene.

Hygiene is critical for our operation.


The solution

Reza Hygiene introduced its retail hygiene system throughout all stores across the nation. The system is a 5-fold approach:

  • Installation of accurate chemical dosing units throughout the store with a colour coded dispenser & chemical product system. This reduced costs by reduced chemical usage and cleaning times.
  • HACCP approved, chemical concentrates specifically for food areas.
  • Point of use colour coded signage/wall charts covering all chemicals.
  • Full customized training of all staff with a combination of classroom sessions, on the job training, training manuals and training booklets provided for all departments.
  • Regular store 'cleaning system' audits by Reza Hygiene service staff using cloud based "auditor reporting" , This gives Store and QA Management an immediate scored report with photo examples of remedial action required.
